The Good Stuff
The nice balanced body and tannins make it a really smooth malbec to drink without feeling watered down or lack-luster.
The price point for this delicious wine is very hard to argue with.
The Bad Stuff
The wine definitely needs some air to open up the flavors, but give it a couple swirls or use an aerator and you’ll be good to go. Apart from that we struggled to find flaws with this malbec (or flaws other people have written about this wine.)
Gorgeous nose exhibiting an array of aromas such as peppery mulberry, sour and black cherry, violet and a subtle touch of wild strawberry jam. The palate is full, complex, with a fantastic energy and bursting with ripe dark plums; tannins are impressively silky and freshness is amazing. An exceptional nectar from the Agrelo terroir. – Decanter Magazine
Funky and smoky dark blackberry aromas with dark loamy earth notes. Ripe mixed berry and blueberry on the palate, dark and rich on entry but thinning towards the finish and imparting a hint of spice. – Snooth.com
